Many years ago, our Founder and Managing Director Justin Bailey had started of his own truck and transport business in Sydney when he was offered some work by a FedEx representative.
It was the start of a 30 year partnership with FedEx which, even after bringing in its own fleets, have continued to use Wymap’s aviation logistics services to support its delivery service.
Over three decades, we estimate that Wymap has run in excess of 350,000 deliveries for FedEx.
As their trusted partner, Wymap has evolved its aviation transport and recruitment solutions to ensure we always deliver to FedEx’s high performance ways of working.
We’ve also gained learnings and expertise from FedEx, in particular their strong commitment to delivering freight quickly and safely around the world for their customers.
For example, as an express integrator, FedEx services are time and performance based, providing customers with an ‘express’ service. As the industry-leading aviation logistics provider, Wymap supported this by committing to delivering arrived cargo within 2 hours of the plane landing.
Wymap’s ‘express’ service has been the foundation of our own commitment to serving our customers, ensuring we provide efficient, compliant and safe services not just to FedEx, but all our clients.
Wymap continues to run daily deliveries out of Sydney, Perth and Auckland airports for FedEx, and our Wymap People staffing solutions are supporting the FedEx teams in the Sydney and Perth airports.
